About

Hi, I’m Bec – co-founder of ReGen Alliance, bush regenerator, environmental educator, and passionate advocate for youth wellbeing through nature-based learning.

With a strong foundation in both health and conservation, my work bridges ecological restoration with trauma-informed youth support. I hold training in Mental Health First Aid, Trauma-Informed Practice, Accidental Counsellor, and Autism Support, and have previously worked in frontline care with NSW Ambulance. This background deeply informs the way I design and deliver programs—ensuring they're not just environmentally meaningful, but emotionally safe, inclusive, and empowering.

At ReGen Alliance, I co-lead programs that reconnect young people—particularly those who are neurodivergent or have experienced trauma—with nature through hands-on projects like bush regeneration, habitat restoration, and creative ecological learning. I believe healing and learning happen best when people feel seen, safe, and connected to Country.

I'm also a mum of two amazing neurodivergent teens, which fuels my commitment to creating learning environments that are flexible, respectful, and genuinely youth-led.

This blog is a space to share research, reflections, and real stories from the field—where young people and wild landscapes grow stronger together.
